Description

This is an initiative to nurture young talent and harness it for business. It seeks to bring together young entrepreneurs and the metropolitan area business fabric. The programme is open to university graduates who are unemployed or who are working in jobs unrelated to their studies. The goal is to help them launch their projects and begin to work.

The entrepreneurs have direct contact with executives and project managers, giving them a unique opportunity to introduce themselves and show their potential. These participants tour a number of highly influential and innovative companies. During the visits to the companies, they attend information sessions on a range of topics, and on some of these stops they are asked to work together in multidisciplinary teams to respond to a specific challenge. Once they have finished the tour, they address the challenges intensively in work sessions with the help of mentors, and they give a final presentation of their ideas or prototypes to a jury made up of representatives of the participating companies and institutions.

This project has already completed three editions with the help of Innobaix (Agència d'Innovació Industrial i Coneixement del Baix Llobregat). It has now expanded to include all the municipalities in the Barcelona Metropolitan area. In the third edition, a group of participants suggested the creation of an app for the upcoming edition of Innobús2019. AMB is currently studying the feasibility of this proposal.
